Re-Vote passes…as stocks tumble

It seems that by adding pork, congress will pass anything. Who said $700 Billion was a lot of money? Add another $150 Billion in pork to an inflated appropriations bill and yes it will pass. My newly founded faith in the House has since been depleted since passing the Financial Services Bill this past Friday. One interesting fact that did surface is that the U.S. House of Representatives has 82 Freshmen Republicans and every single one voted against this bill that passed 263 to 171. Every GOP Freshman congressmen voting against the bill means that these congressmen are still in touch with their constituents. I also find it interesting that on Monday 09/29/08, after the House rejected the Bill (H.R. 3997) the DOW dropped 777.xx points in a so called “reaction” (then jumped over 400 points on Tue). Hmm, if we apply this same logic, on the passing of the bill, Friday 10/03 showed a 157 point decline, Monday, the DOW is down 545 points, and Tuesday another 508. The DOW is below 10k for the first time since 2003 and falling. This Bailout is only the tip of the iceberg as I predict many companies and industries are feeling the financial burden. Are we to bail them out as well?
